Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting by working as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. O'Dell later became morning news anchor for WCBD TV and also as a crime reporter. The work of O'Dell on the streets of Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell was awarded an award for the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell has worked at Charleston reporting, was a co-anchor at NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station prior to moving to Access Hollywood where she is an anchor and reporter during weekends. O'Dell's current role as host of Access Hollywood is complemented by her contributions to NBC News Today, Dateline NBC and NBC News. She's covered The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted numerous pre-show arrivals show for The Emmys And The Golden Globes.
